We have heard that some of you had issues getting the latest episode this week. There might be a simple answer to that. When we transferred over to the new server last year we ended up with, thanks to the joy of the internet, two different feeds. We put the required info into the wrong one so that it wouldn’t keep being used and for the most part it seems to have worked. BUT there are still a few places that didn’t take the move code, we are currently tracking down the ones we know of to fix that but doubt that we’ll be able to get them all.

So, if you aren’t getting the latest episodes in your feed then chances are good that the app you are using is pulling the wrong feed and ignoring our move request. Sadly you will either need to resubscribe using the correct feed or get them to update their system.

Oh, and for the folks using Stitcher we’re fixing them. At least as much as we can.

Update 11/8/2015:
Quick feed update. If you use Podkicker to get the podcast then great news, they’ve got it updated on their end! It does however mean that you’ll need to unsubscribe and resubscribe to the show for it to take effect on your device.

Hey everyone, we promised we would update our back catalog once we had corrected the volume issue. After countless hours remastering them it’s finally done. The episodes are being uploaded as we speak so if you run into problems over the next couple of hours downloading/listening to an older episode that is likely the reason. We weren’t able to fix the first 26 episodes (what we refer to as the era of the buzz) but everything after that is corrected. Thanks for being patient while we get these updated.

So I am hesitant to say that we have successfully moved our feed to a new server. Everything appears to be working right but we are relying on all of you to let us know if you run into any problems. If things go smoothly you shouldn’t notice any changes, if they don’t then things won’t be updating for you. Please let us know if you see that so we can fix it right away.

Thank you to everyone who has subscribed to and been downloading the show. We really love and appreciate that you’re doing it and that you like the show enough to share it with other people you know. You have been doing such a great job of spreading the word that we have outgrown our server and have to make some changes. Tomorrow we will be migrating our site, and all of it’s content, to a new server so there is a good chance you won’t be able to connect during that time. Never fear, we will have it all back up as soon as possible. Once the changes are done the download speeds should be better and most of the issues folks have been experiencing streaming the show should be a thing of the past. Thanks for being patient with us as we make this change, we should get our new episode out on Thursday as normal!
